GCC private capital in numbers
- Gulf sovereign wealth funds committed a record $53.9 billion across 108 deals in the first half of 2026, more than a third of all state-owned investment worldwide.
- Mubadala was the most active sovereign investor in the world in the first half of 2026, with $15.2 billion invested.
- In 2025, Saudi Arabia's PIF led on total capital committed with $36.2 billion, and Mubadala invested $32.7 billion across 40 deals.
- The US took almost half of that Gulf capital, followed by China and the UK.
